Schneider Electric 140 NOE 771 00 Overview The Quantum 140 NOE 771 00 Megabit Ethernet Module is manufactured by Schneider Electric for the Quantum Ethernet TCP/IP line of modules. The task of the Quantum 140 NOE 771 00 is to foster communication between the Quantum Programmable Logic Controller, or PLC, with connected Ethernet network devices. The Schneider Electric is manufactured to fit into a single slot on a standard Quantum backplane. The Quantum single-width unit housing contains the electronics that operate the 140 NOE 771 00 modules. Capable of being hot-swapped, the Schneider Electric 140 NOE 771 00 fits into any single slot available on a backplane to establish communication between connected devices in real-time. Features of the Schneider Electric 140 NOE 771 00 Peer-to-peer communication is one feature of the Quantum 140 NOE 771 00. It is also manufactured to provide I/O scanning and acts as a Modbus / TCP server. This module is able to include HTTP services. These services aid in maintenance as well as configuration capabilities. The primary features of the Schneider Electric 140 NOE 771 00 include provisions.  It is enabled with a full-duplex capable twisted shield port with integrated 10/100 BASE-TX.
