The PCI-6024E (Part number: 777743-01) is an efficient and reliable Multifunction DAQ in the affordable E Series from National Instruments. The PCI 6024E Multifunction DAQ offers sixteen single-ended input channels or eight differential analog input channels, along with two voltage analog output channels. The user can select any channel with the help of the software interface. The instrument comes with a built-in analog to digital converter, which enables the device for successive approximation for various measurement requirements. The NI PCI 6024E DAQ Card offers a resolution of twelve bits and two counters of 24 bits. The National Instruments PCI 6024E provides a sample rate for real-time measurements. This sample rate enables the user to complete quick and accurate analysis, with the value of 200 kS per second. The output rate is 10 kS per second.  This helps improve the efficiency of the measurement system in tough industrial environments. The instrument also incorporates an input coupling mechanism for DC terminals and has a valuable overvoltage protection feature for the user’s safety. This model does not come with a FIFO buffer. Other features of this Multifunction DAQ include a self-calibration feature, temperature drift protection circuitry, and an onboard temperature sensor. The PCI 6024E NI DAQ utilizes the Real-Time System Integration (RTSI) bus to synchronize multiple measurement functions to one timing or trigger event. The user can route trigger and timing signals between multiple functions on a maximum of five DAQ instruments in a PCI system. The PCI 6024E NI also incorporates a 68-pin male SCSI-II I/O connector. The PCI 6024E Card has +4.65 to +5.25 VDC at 1 A power available at the I/O connector. PCI-6024E End of Life Status has been announced by National Instruments, but will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves. The device weighs 4.1 oz., and measures 6.9 x 4.2 in. in physical dimensions.
