Provides a combination of analog I/O, digital I/O, counter/timer, and trigger functions in a single PXI module.

The PXI multi-function I/O module offers a variety of different I/ OS with different channel numbers, sampling rates and output rates, as well as precise timing, triggering and synchronization between different models. The module is suitable for industrial applications such as laboratory research, design validation testing and manufacturing testing. The PXI multi-function I/O module also features NI-DAQmx drivers and configuration utilities to simplify configuration and measurement. Ni-daqmx supports the NI programming environment as well as Python, ANSI C, C#.net, and MathWorks MATLAB® software.

The PXI-6230 (Part Number: 779616-01) PXI Multifunction I/O Module with Bank Isolation, 8 Analog inputs (16 Bits, 250 kS/s), 4 Analog outputs, 6 DI, 2 counters/timers, and 4 DIO. This module from the M Series also offers digital triggering. The digital inputs and outputs are perfect with 5 V TTL/CMOS signals. The NI PXI-6230 consolidates the safety and execution benefits of insulation with elite timing, amplification, and calibration technologies to provide exact estimations and control.

The PXI-6230 is well-suited for test, estimation, control, and design applications in conditions with high voltages and electrical noise. The PXI-6230 can be utilized to read from encoders, flow meters, and proximity sensors, along with control valves, pumps, and relays. With the NI PXI-6230, it is possible to utilize the extensive variety of I/O: from 80 analog inputs to 48 digital lines - to measure and check prototype designs.
