Foxboro P0922YK FBM201d | I/A Series 8 Input Module, 0-10V

FBM201 is an analog input module that provides eight channels for 0-20 mA DC input signals from field sensors. Each analog input channel is electrically isolated from other channels, and the module is compatible with standard HART signals. The module performs the necessary signal conversion from field sensors to the FCP's electrical input signals. To achieve high accuracy, the module combines sigma-delta data conversion on a per-channel basis with configurable integration periods to eliminate any process noise and power line frequency. The module provides a new analog input reading every 25 milliseconds and an averaged value for each time period. There are different environmental protection levels available for the module according to ISA standard S71.04. The FBM201 module can be used in harsh environments and is designed for easy disassembly and replacement. It includes redundant fieldbus connectors, redundant independent DC power supplies, power cables, and terminal cables. The module communicates through a redundant 2 Mbps fieldbus, and if one path fails, it continues communication through the active path. The module is installed on a Compact 200 series baseplate, and up to 16 Compact FBMs can be installed on a modular baseplate that can be mounted on DIN rails or racks. The module can be removed or replaced without removing field equipment terminals, and visual indicators on the module provide a status indication of its operation. There are different variations of the FBM201 module, including FBM201b (P0922YH) and FBM201c (P0922YJ), which provide eight channels for 0-100 mV and 0-5 V input signals, respectively.
