The rectifier filter circuit is the AC voltage is rectified, and then filtered to get a relatively pure DC voltage. Power conversion is the key part of design, and its design process mainly includes power element selection and transformer design.
1. Main circuit:
Impulse current limiting limits the impulse current of the input side at the moment the power is switched on. The function of the input filter is to filter the clutter that exists in the power grid and prevent the clutter generated by it to feed back to the power grid. The inverter can change the rectified direct current into high-frequency alternating current, which is the core part of the high-frequency switching power supply.
2. Control circuit:
On the one hand, sample from the output, compare with the set value, and then control the inverter, change its pulse width or pulse frequency, so that the output is stable, on the other hand, according to the data provided by the test circuit, identified by the protection circuit, provide a control circuit to the power supply for various protection measures.
3. Chip auxiliary components:
General resistance and ground capacitance determine the oscillation frequency inside the chip, most power supply designers think that the chip oscillation as long as the frequency is right, in fact, the design of the chip oscillation RC value is also related to the maximum duty cycle.
The function of the starting and auxiliary power supply circuit is to realize the self-starting power supply and normal working power supply of the power chip. 4. Rectifier diode part:

In addition, the rectifier diode itself is a heat source, pay attention to heat dissipation, can not be placed near the heating element. The selection of the diode withstand voltage value is generally greater than twice the flyback voltage, and if the RC absorption circuit is added to absorb the diode peak, a diode with a withstand voltage value greater than 1.5 times the flyback voltage can be selected.
5. Output rectification and filtering:
Flyback AC-DC power module output filter is usually composed of diode and filter capacitor and fake load, according to the load needs, to provide stable and reliable DC power supply. The ESR of the filter capacitor is relatively large, so the influence of the capacitor ESR on the output voltage ripple is mainly considered.
6. False load part:
Its size is determined by the power supply of the auxiliary winding, if the false load is too light, then the auxiliary winding can not get enough energy for the chip to work when the module power output is no-load, and the power supply will burp. In addition, properly increasing the pseudo load will improve the dynamic and cross-regulation ability of the power supply. If there is a hiccup in the debugging power supply, you can increase the false load and then debug.
7. Power protection circuit:
There are short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, overheat protection and so on. In the case of short circuit at the output end, the PWM control circuit can limit the output current within a safe range, it can use a variety of ways to achieve the current limiting circuit, when the power current limiting does not work in the short circuit, only another part of the circuit.
The function of the output overvoltage protection circuit is to limit the output voltage to a safe value when the output voltage exceeds the design value. When the internal voltage regulating loop of the module power supply fails or the output overvoltage phenomenon is caused by improper operation of the user, the overvoltage protection circuit protects the rear electrical equipment from damage.
