Description

1. General auxiliary relay FX series PLC general auxiliary relay has no power failure protection function. In FX series PLC, except input relay and output relay component numbers are octal, other programming components are decimal.

If the power supply is interrupted suddenly while the PLC is running, the output relay and the general auxiliary relay will all be turned OFF. If the power supply is switched ON again, except for those turned on by an external input signal It will remain in the OFF state.

2. Battery backup/latch auxiliary relay Some control systems require the memory of the instantaneous state of the power supply interruption, and reproduce its state after re-energized, battery backup/latch auxiliary relay can be used in such situations.

Use lithium batteries to hold the contents of image registers in RAM or save them in EEPROM during power outages. They only remain in a state of instantaneous power failure for the first scan cycle after the PLC is re-energized. In order to take advantage of their power off memory function, a circuit with memory function can be used. Suppose X0 and X1 in Figure 3-7 are the start button and stop button respectively, and the M500 controls external power through Y0 If the M500 is in 1 state when the power is interrupted, the M500 will remain in 1 state after re-energization because of the memory function of the circuit, so that Y0 continues to be ON and the motor starts running again.

3. Special auxiliary relay

Special auxiliary relays total 256 points, they are used to represent some state of PLC, provide clock pulse and mark (such as carry, borrow mark), set the operation mode of PLC, or used for step control, forbid interrupt, set the counter is counting or counting.
