The PXI-2547 (Part number: 778572-47) is a 50 Ω, 2.7 GHz, RF PXI Multiplexer Switch Module (in 8x1 topology) featured with a higher channel count. This model is an ideal solution for test systems where a significant number of RF signals must be switched. This module is known for its voltage standing wave ratio, excellent insertion loss, and isolation parameters, which results in the minimization of signal degradation. The user can utilize the integrated tracking feature for the relay count to diminish unexpected system downtime and to predict relay lifetime. The PXI-2547 provides 0.5 A Maximum switching current (per channel) and 30 V Maximum switching voltage. This switch module comes with an electromechanical, latching relay and gold plated 9 SMA jacks as I/O connectors. This model is a smart device with 8.5 in. × 0.8 in. × 5.1 in. dimensions and weighs around 9 oz.. This model can operate with <0.25 Ω, typical DC path resistance initially and approximately ≥1.0 Ω, at the end-of-life. The characteristic impedance remains 50 Ω, nominal (approximately), whereas it is designed to work with <1.05 dB (<0.7 dB, typical) and <2.0 dB (<1.6 dB, typical) insertion loss, while operating at ≤1 GHz and ≤2.7 GHz respectively. By design, the NI PXI-2547 comes with SP8T Topology. This module is suitable for routing signals from DC to 2.7 GHz. It can also switch up to 30 Vrms or 500 mA at 10 W. The PXI-2547 can be used for switching multiple devices under test, while connected to one channel on the RF analyzer.
