The input channel of this module converts the received analog signal via Successive approximation method with a conversion resolution of 14 bits across ±10.5V and 12 bits across 21 mA. It has a repeatability of ±1 Least Significant Bit (LSB) and requires calibration interval of 12 Months. The analog inputs are applicable for measuring analog process variables such as Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, Viscosity, pH, Turbidity, Speed and many other process variables. The output channel of this module features an output resolution of 13 bits across 21 mA = 2.8 µA/bit and 14 bits across 21.8V = 1.3 mV/bit. The output channel conversion is through R-Ladder DAC conversion method with no missing codes. The output analog signal of this module may be used to command modulating actions intended for Control Valves, Variable Frequency Drives, Dampers, Louvers, Signal Converters and Transducers. It may also be used to re-transmit signals for use by indicators, recorders and other devices. The analog output of this module may be linked to a manual control command, an Arithmetic operation or control output of a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller.
