Description: The Allen-Bradley 1794-OE12 is a Flex IO analog output module. This module features Twelve (12) single-ended, non-isolated Voltage/ Current analog output channels. It delivers output current signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA and Voltage signals such as ±10VDC. It is compatible with a terminal bases such as 1794-TB3G or 1794-TB3GS. It is compatible with any 1794 Flex IO adapters to implement distributed I/O application.

The Allen-Bradley 1794-OE12 is a high-density analog output module that is part of the Flex IO product family. This module features Twelve (12) output channels configurable for 0-20mA, 4-20 mA current signals and +/- 10VDC voltage signals. The module’s channels are non-isolated and supports single-ended wiring configuration. The 1794-OE12 is used with terminal bases such as 1794-TB3G and 1794-TB3GS with keyswitch position 4. It has an open-type enclosure which means this module and the entire Flex I/O assembly must be installed inside an enclosure that offers adequate protection against industrial elements. The 1794-OE12 comes with an internally installed analog to digital circuit (ADC) converter. It converts digital data to analog signal with conversion resolution of 16 bit in 2’s complement data format. Each output channels has an absolute accuracy of 0.1% Full Scale @ 25 °C, both for Voltage and Current signals with accuracy drift of 0.004% full scale/°C on both signal configuration. The 1794-OE12 has a Current draw of 80 mA and supply voltage requirement of 10.5-31.2VDC. It has a power dissipation of 7.68 W @ 24V DC, Thermal dissipation of 26.2 BTU/hr @ 24V DC and isolation voltage of 50V (continuous), Basic Insulation Type. After configuration, the output signal ranges are 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA, both of which are user-configurable while the configurable output voltage range is from +/-10V. This module has a mA output resistive load of 0-750 ? at 24V DC and a maximum voltage output current load of 3 mA. Its current resolution is 0.641 µA/cnt and its voltage resolution is 320 µV/cnt. The nominal external DC power supply of this module is 24V DC and the external DC power supply voltage range is from 10-31.2V DC, including the 5% AC ripple. This module has external DC power supply currents of 720 mA at 10V DC and 320 mA at 24V DC. The 1794-OE12 module also has a FlexBus current of 80 mA and a continuous isolation voltage of 50V that has been tested at 850V DC for 60 seconds, particularly between the user power to the system. The absolute accuracy for both the voltage and current terminals are 0.1% full scale at 25% each and the accuracy drift with temperature for both the voltage and current terminals are 0.004% full scale/Deg. Celsius each. The maximum power dissipations of this module are both 4W at 10V DC and 31.2V DC and 4.3 W at 24V DC and the maximum thermal dissipation is 4.7 BTU/hr at 24V DC. The operating temperature of this module is from -20-60 Deg. Celsius and the storage temperature is -40-85 Deg. Celsius. It also has a relative humidity of 5-95% which is non-condensing. This module also has an operating shock of 30 g, a non-operating shock of 50 g, and an operating vibration of 5 g at 10-500 Hz.
