The Allen-Bradley 22B-D010N104 Powerflex 40 is a 3-phase drive that is supplied with a nominal voltage of 480 Volts AC. This drive supports panel mounting with a human Interface Module (HIM) that users can use to configure, monitor and control the drive. The 22B-D010N104’s input voltage range is 340 to 528 Volts AC with an apparent input power of 10.8 KV at 13 Amps. It has an output power of 4kW (5 Horsepower) and an output current of 10.5 Amps. The 22B-D010N104 recommended fuse rating is 20 A UL Class J, CC, T or Type BS88; 600V fuse type while the recommended motor circuit protection is 140M-C2E-C16. Combined with the Process Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) algorithm capability, the VFD itself can act as a controller and self-regulate. To power ON the 22B-D010N104, an input voltage supply with range of 3420528 Volts, along a frequency range of 48-63 Hz and current of 13.0 Amperes must be supplied to the drive. The delivers a continuous current output of 10.5 Amperes, frequency range of 0-400 Hz and Voltage range of 0-460VAC, 3-Phase. The 22B-D010N104 is applicable for use with AC motors rated 4.0 kW or 5.0 Horsepower. The drive may be operated out-of-the-box using the embedded keypad and LCD readout. Basic operations such as START / STOP / JOG and Frequency modification may be via the fixed keypad or optional Human Interface Modules (HIM) that can be mounted remotely or flush mounted to the panel door. Additionally, the 22B-D010N104 has embedded Input and Output channels that allows wiring of external signals and receiving devices to operate the drive based on the signals coming from the field. Operation of the drive is not limited to hardwiring as it may also be operated and configured via the RS485 communication interface of by installing add-on communication modules.
