The IC200PWR102 is an expanded power supply module that is part of the VersaMax product family. This module is currently manufactured by Emerson Automation, formerly by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP). It is mainly used to deliver power to VersaMax backplane which is utilized by the installed modules to power up individual internal circuitries for operation. The IC200PWR102 is operable when connected to an external power supply that delivers 85-132 VAC (120 VAC, nominal) and 176 - 264 VAC (240 VAC, nominal), input frequency range of 47-63 Hz, and input power of 27 VA. This power supply delivers an output voltage 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC and output current of 1.0 Ampere at 3.3 VDC and 1.5 Amperes at 5 VDC however, the output current of the module shall not exceed the total maximum output current of 1.5 Amperes. The IC200PWR102 input voltage selection is configured by installation of a jumper across the two (2) terminal located on the right side of the ground terminal. With a jumper installed, the module accepts 120 VAC nominal voltage otherwise, without a jumper installed, the module is rated 240 VAC, nominal.

The IC200PWR102 is a power supply module that used with VersaMax input and output modules, Network Interface Units (NIUs)m Intelligent Modules and Central Processing Units (CPUs). This module may also be used with as a supplemental power supply module when installed on a Power Supply Booster carrier. For module protection, this hardware comes with an internally installed short circuit and overload protection. The GE Fanuc Versamax IC200PWR102 expanded power supply unit supplies power to devices that are connected to the backplane of PLC such as network interface units (NIUs), input and output units (I/O), and central processing units (CPUs). It uses AC power as the main power source unlike other types of modules from the Versamax series that use DC power. Although it serves as the primary power supply in the PLC, it can also be used as a secondary power supply when connected to a power supply booster carrier. The IC200PWR102 expanded power supply unit has an input voltage of 120 to 240 Volts AC and an output voltage of 5 Volts DC and 3.3 Volts DC. The module has an extended power feature, which means that the power can be expanded up to 3.3 Volts DC. It has an input power of 27 Volts-Amps and a holdup time of approximately 20 milliseconds. The GE Fanuc Versamax IC200PWR102 expanded power supply module is safeguarded against short circuits and overloading. This module has a frequency range between 47 Hertz and 63 Hertz. If a jumper is present in the module, the input voltage may range between 85 and 132 Volts AC, although 120 Volts AC is the nominal voltage rating. If the jumper is absent, the input voltage may range between 176 and 264 Volts AC, and the nominal voltage is 240 Volts AC. The jumper operates safely with an input voltage of 120 Volts AC. However, it is recommended not to use a jumper with a 240 Volts AC input voltage rating because it may damage the IC200PWR102 module and it may be fatal to the users.
