Description The Kongsberg Maritime WatchCalling C600 (WCC 600), is a systemrequired to run an unmanned engineroom. The Watch Call unit can bemounted on: • bridge where the main functionwill be to indicate engine roomalarms, and to indicate / acceptthe transfer of machine watchresponsibility to and from thebridge. • engineer on duty´s cabin and inthe public quarters where the mainfunction will be to indicate engineroom alarms while in bridgecontrol. An alarm situation will be presentedon the Watch Call unit with a buzzersound and a visual indication. Theunit will automatically switch toAlarm Summary page and presentalarm information to the user.Configuration of alarms in the systemcan be grouped according to thecustomer’s specification. The WCC 600 unit is equippedwith a 5.7” LCD touch display forpresentation and navigation.User-friendly and intuitive designmakes the Watch Call unit easy tooperate for all vessel personnel. The WCC 600 unit communicateswith the main computer in theK-Chief alarm system using a highspeed communication network(CAN). A redundant solution withautomatic change-over to anothermain computer in case of failure canbe provided.
