Tricon：is a programmable logic and process controller with a high level of redundancy fault-tolerant technology. Fault tolerance technology: Fault tolerance is the most important feature of Tricon controller. It can identify transient and steady-state faults online and correct them appropriately. Fault tolerant technology improves the security capability and availability of the controller and makes the process safely controlled. Tricon provides fault tolerance through triple module redundancy architecture (TMR). The system consists of three securely identical system channels (except for the power module, which is doubly redundant). Each system channel executes the control program independently and works in parallel with the other two channels. The hardware voting mechanism votes and diagnoses all the digital inputs and outputs of the white field. The analog input is treated with a median value. Because each branch circuit is isolated from the other two, a fault in any branch circuit will not be transmitted to the other two branches. Troubleshooting If you need to remove or replace faulty circuit modules, you can do so online without interrupting process control.
