Trusted TMR I/O SmartSlot Slot Cables This document provides detailed information for the types of Trusted® input/output (I/O) Cablesavailable within the SmartSlot group.    These types of cable provide connection facilities between theTrusted analogue and digital input/output modules, and Trusted Field Termination Assemblies(FTAs) or Trusted Versatile Field Termination Assemblies (VFTAs) as required.    Cables are alsoavailable with a ‘flying lead’ at one end to allow connection to conditioned terminals. The cables are manufactured to user’s requirements, therefore length and type of cable insulationmust be specified.   Length must be specified to the nearest 0.5 m in the format xmx, e.g. 2m0 for acable length of 2.0 m.   This detail must be added to the end of the part number.   Note that somecable lengths are preferred options and may be easier to obtain;   refer to Rockwell Automation fordetails.   The type of cable insulation forms part of the cable part number and is denoted by 02 forLow Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) or 03 for UL Certified cable material.   02 is also flame retardant toIEC 60332-3 Cat A. The maximum recommended I/O cable length is 15 m.   Cables longer than this may be specified ifnecessary but may suffer from voltage drop, offset, crosstalk and noise and will present materialshandling problems. Internal cables are designed for cables where they are terminated in adjacent enclosures.   If thecable needs to leave the enclosure environment, the external cable has more protection.   Note thatthe ‘external’ cables are not armoured and are not suitable for truly external use and must still betreated with care.   These cables will need protection when drawn through a cable route, and shouldalso not be pulled by the connector(s).   They should enter cabinets through transit/compressionblocks and cannot be glanded.

Therefore, the indicator to measure the performance of the system network is not the speed of the network, that is, the number of bits per second (bit/s), but the real-time performance of the system network, that is, how long it can ensure that the transmission of the required information is completed. 3, DCS is a microprocessor and network based centralized decentralized control system. It includes operator station, engineer station, monitoring computer, field control station, data acquisition station, communication system. 4. (1) Operator station: Operator station is the main equipment for the operator to display, monitor, control and manage the production process. (2) Engineer station: The engineer station is used for offline configuration work and online system supervision, control and maintenance of DCS. (3) Monitoring computer: the monitoring computer collects the data information of each unit in the system through the network, performs background calculation and optimization control according to the mathematical model and optimization control index, and is also used for the comprehensive management of the whole system information. (4) Field control station: The field control station is directly connected with the production process through the field instrument, collects the process variable information, and carries out conversion and calculation processing, generates control signals to drive the field actuator, and realizes the control of the production process. (5) Data acquisition station: Data acquisition station is connected with the production process, data acquisition and preprocessing of non-control variables in the process, and further processing of real-time data; Provide data for operator station, realize process monitoring and information storage, and provide auxiliary data and information for control loop operation. (6) Communication system: The communication system connects the operator station, engineer station, monitoring computer, field control station, data acquisition station and other parts of the DCS, passing the data, instructions and other information between the workstations, so that the whole system works in a coordinated manner, so as to realize the sharing of data and information resources.
