PTQ-PDPMV1 - Master Module

Description

The PROFIBUS DPV1 Master module is a powerful communication interface for Quantum® processors. Developed under license from , the module incorporates proprietarybackplane technology that enables powerful data exchange with processors. The module supports complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158. Acyclicparameter data can be transferred with Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services, allowingprocessors to easily communicate with slave devices supporting PROFIBUS DPV0/V1protocol. The module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and theprocessor. Data transfer from the processor is asynchronous with the I/O data transfer onthe PROFIBUS network.

Configuration ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB) provides a PC-based software configurationsolution for management of module configuration files, as well as viewing communicationand network diagnostics.
