The FBM242 Discrete Output Module contains 16discrete output channels, which are sourcedexternally, rated up to 2 A at 60 V dc.  Associatedtermination assemblies (TAs) provide for discreteoutputs to loads of 2 A at 60 V dc, relay outputs(120 V ac/125 V dc, or 240 V ac), or relay outputswith power distribution and fusing.  Each output isfully isolated from other channels and ground. The module interfaces electrical output signals from acontrol processor to the field devices. It executes adigital I/O application program, with ladder logicsupport, and provides a Fail-Safe Configurationoption for the outputs.
