The 1756-OV32E ControlLogix DC Electronically-Fused Sinking Output Module by Allen-Bradley is a chassis-located output module with 32 electronically-fused and sinking outputs. It has an operational voltage range of 10-30V DC with a maximum signal time delay of 300μs for OFF to ON, and 1ms for ON to OFF. The 1756-OV32E draws 390mA current at 5.1V and 2mA at 24V and the total output rating on the backplane is 2.04W. When operational, the 1756-OV32E has a thermal dissipation of 20.1 BTU/hr and a 1mA current leakage on each output point. In the ON state, the circuit will lose 350mV DC at 0.5A and the maximum current on each point is 0.5A at 50 °C totaling 16A on the whole module at 50 °C. The minimum load on each output point is 2mA and each output point has a surge of 2A for 10ms repeating every 2s. Each output signal is scheduled and synchronized with 16.7s with reference to the coordinated System Time (CST). The 1756-OV32E has an isolation voltage of 250V with the basic insulation type. It has a factory-designated T4 North America and IEC temperature code and it has an open-style enclosure. The 1756-OV32E’s functional humidity ranges between 5 and 95% without condensation and its operating temperature range is 0-60 °C.
