The 1756-OV16E ControlLogix Digital DC Output Module by Allen-Bradley is an output module in the ControlLogix Digital DC output module series with 16 sinking and electronically-fused outputs located in the chassis slot of the 1756 ControlLogix device. It has a pilot duty rating of 1A (DC-13/SR) and an operational voltage rating of 10-30V DC. The 1756-OV16E has a nominal signal delay time of 75μs for OFF to ON state and 360μs for ON to OFF state and it has 1ms maximum delay time for both OFF to ON and ON to OFF. It has backplane ratings of 2mA at 5.1V and 210mA at 24V and a total power of 1.12W. The maximum power dissipation across the 1756-OV16E’s circuits is 6.72W and the maximum leakage current on each point is 1mAin the OFF state. It has a maximum voltage loss of 700mV DC at 1A. The 1756-OV16E has a maximum current of 1A on each output point and the aggregate current on the module is 8A at 60 °C. The lowest current load on each point is 2mA and it has a surge of 2A for 10ms per point recurring every 2s. The 1756-OV16E has an insulation voltage of 250V adopting basic insulation type routinely tested at 1350V AC for 2s between outputs-to-backplane and output group-to-group.
