The easYgen-3000 series from Woodward, manufacturers of several industrial turbomachinery control and protective systems. The easYgen-3000 series is a versatile, efficient Genset control, which is able to be adapted individually to every application. This lineup of controller modules is designed for industrial gas and diesel engines, steam turbines, and compressor modules. The user-friendly interface of this module is a 5.7-inch liquid crystal display. Several languages are available to set up the graphic user display range: English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, and Turkish. The easYgen-3200-1 unit is designed with a simplified construction. It is able to handle communication through both Ethernet and USB connectivity. On-board documentation and system updates are a standard feature, and the drop-in replacement detail is implemented into the unit to increase the module’s longevity. These units are designed to connect to over 32 Genset modules in just a single network. The FlexApp featured software is designed to provide the capabilities to configure the easYgen units to the desired user specifications. The FlexApp software comes with four separate modes of configuration: measuring transducer/engine control mode, 1 breaker control open, 1 breaker control open/closed, and 2 breaker control open/closed.

The easYgen-3200 combines complete engine-generator control and protection with advanced, peer-to-peer paralleling functionality and innovative features in a robust, attractive and user-friendly package. Its integrated LogicsManager™ programmable logic functionality provides outstanding application flexibility and can often eliminate the need for additional PLC control, yet can easily integrate with SCADA or PLC-based control systems where desired. The easYgen-3200 gives you the advantage of standardizing on a single, affordable genset controller for many different distributed power generation applications--from stand-alone emergency backup power to parallel load sharing of up to 32 gensets in complex, segmented distribution systems with multiple utility feeds and tie breakers. • Automatic synchronization: phase-match, positive/negative slip-frequency, run-up (dead field) paralleling
• Circuit breaker close/open control: GCB only, GCB and MCB (ATS function), or external (no) control
• Proportional load sharing (isochronous or droop) of up to 32 gensets, regardless of individual size
• Base loading, import/export control, asymmetrical loading (through external base load input)
• Automatic load dependent start/stop for improved generation system efficiency
• Asynchronous (induction) generator control
• Engine and generator protection functions, with fully programmable settings
