Description

Woodward Load Sharing Module Part 9907-252. This part features +0.5 to +4.5 VDC analog output type and 24 VDC supply voltage. Allows load sharing with Woodward and non-Woodward equipped engines and provides isochronous and droop load sharing.

9907-252 Technical Specifications

Unit 9907-252 is available from our inventory here at AX Control Inc. The 9907-252 Load Sharing Module is powered by a supply intake that nominally rests at 24 volts of direct current but ranges from at least 18 to 32 V/DC. The inputs for this unit are both three-phase PT and CT inputs. The PT inputs range from a voltage of 95 to 130 V/AC, line to line. The CT inputs need between 3 and 7 A Rms at a full load. The adjustments available for this unit to be able to process include droop and load gain. Droop is able to provide output reduction between no-load and full-load. The Load Gain adjustment alters the load on an individual generator when two or more are paralleled. The environmental specifications that the 9907-252 makes it best suited to work in an environment that are stable and between -40 to 70 degrees C, or -40 to 158 degrees F.

The Electrically Power Governor (EPG) is designed for precise isochronous speed control of diesel engines.  The electric governor is especially suited for prime movers without a mechanical drive or hydraulic oil supply for the governor and which have low-mass, low friction fuel linkages. EPG’s are part of a complete control system consisting of three-components including: • Electronic speed control • Electric Actuator (ordered separately, see options below for 12 V applications) • Magnetic pickup (ordered separately) Actuators model options have the following work outputs: • Model 512 Full governor travel of 30°, 0.7 J (0.5 ft-lb) (Item: 8256-022) • Model 712 Full governor travel of 35°, 1.6 J (1.2 ft-lb) (Item: 8256-017) • All actuator output shafts are 0.375"-36 SAE serrated on each end Benefits: • No mechanical drive or hydraulic supply required • Accepts load sharing accessories • Switch-selected dual dynamics VWith or without start-fuel limit for smoke control
