Controller model number 8440-2088 is part of Woodward Incs easYgen-3000 series, the controller is also known as the easYgen-3500XT-P2 model. This controller is housed in plastic and has enclosed softkeys as well as a liquid crystal display screen which will display the operating mode as well as any alarm classes that have come up while the controller is operating. Make sure that you are watching the temperature while your controller is running, the operating temperature of your controller as an easYgen-3500XT model, and the operating temperature of the controller while running should be negative twenty to positive seventy degrees Celsius. Since this model is from the P2 series it comes with some different modifications compared to its P1 series counterpart. The P2 series model offers a 3-ph busbar voltage measuring capability, an interface expansion card slot that allows for additional interfaces/protocols, and an expandable onboarding I/O set. The 8440-2088 model is also equipped with some newer features such as direct connection up to 690 Vac, multi-interface toolkit connectivity, and drop-in replacement, something that the previous models of the easYgen-3500XT did not have.
