This is English Language Module Kit designed for Allen-Bradley modules is designated as a 1336E module by the first position of the catalog code number (1336 IMPACT drives); the fifth position in the order code, however, is reserved for a default language description. If the catalog number has an “EN” designation in the fifth code position, then the English Language Module Kit can be used for replacement
The Allen-Bradley 1336E-EN2 is a 1336 IMPACT AC Drive English Language Module. Language modules such as the 1336E-EN2 are designed especially for operator convenience and for superior factory floor capability. This is English Language Module Kit designed for Allen-Bradley modules is designated as a 1336E module by the first position of the catalog code number (1336 IMPACT drives); the fifth position in the order code, however, is reserved for a default language description. If the catalog number has an “EN” designation in the fifth code position, then the English Language Module Kit can be used for replacement. This module is installed in the top right corner of the 1336 IMPACT AC drive with frame sizes A1, A2, A3, and A4; for all other frame sizes of the 1336 IMPACT drive series (sizes “B” through “H”), the 1336E-EN2 module is positioned in the center-left section of the drive. It is composed of a plastic housing in which lives a printed circuit board. This board is where a chip with language data can be attached. The 1336E-EN2 language module can easily be connected to the 1336 IMPACT drive main circuit board over a connector. The fitting procedure is to slide this 30-pin connector onto the 1336 IMPACT drive main circuit board. On the 1336 IMPACT drives is a parameter used for language selection on the HMI display; this is the parameter number 1, language select. The 1336E-EN2 module is packed in a brick-styled plastic housing with an approximate shipping weight of 0.02 kilograms (0.045 pounds).
