The Allen-Bradley 1756-IV32 is a digital input module having 32 inputs with 16 points per group. The 1756-IV32 module is compatible with the ControlLogix 1756 chassis but before you can connect the module to the chassis, you will need an RTB, or removable terminal housing, for the module. For the 1756-IV32 module, you can only use the 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H RTB. The 1756-IV32 has an operating voltage range of 10 to 30 Volts DC and is a 12/24 Volts DC source module. The current draw of this module is 120 milliamps at 5.1 Volts and 2 milliamps at 24 Volts. It has a total backplane power of 0.66 Watts and a nominal input voltage of 24 Volts DC. The module also has a continuous voltage of 250 Volts. When the 1756-IV32 module is on an off-state, it has a maximum current of 1.5 mA and a maximum voltage of 5 Volts. But when it is on an on-state, the module has a minimum current of 2 milliamps at 10 Volts DC and a maximum current of 3.5 milliamps at 30 Volts DC.
