It is compatible with any 1794 Flex IO adapters to implement distributed I/O application.

The Allen-Bradley 1794-OB16 module is a digital DC output module for FLEX I/O. It has 16 current sourcing outputs. The minimum, maximum, and nominal on-state voltages are 10 Volts DC, 31.2 Volts DC, and 24 Volts DC, respectively. The output current rating of all the 16 outputs (each rated at 0.5 Amps) is 8 Amps while the minimum on-state current is 1 milliamp per channel and the maximum on-state current is 500 milliamps per channel. The maximum on-state voltage drop is 0.5 Volts DC. The surge current is 2 Amps for 50 milliseconds and it is repeatable every 2 seconds. The maximum off-state leakage current is 0.5 milliamps. The isolation voltage is 50 Volts continuous. The module has been tested at 850 Volts DC for 1 second between the users and the system.
