Description

The YOKOGAWA NFAI143 - H00 is a high-performance analog input module launched by Yokogawa Electric Corporation, mainly used in industrial automation applications. Function and Purpose: It converts continuous analog signals into digital signals for processing by computers and other digital devices.  It can accurately collect and process analog signals from various sensors, such as those of pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc., providing accurate data input for industrial automation control systems. Channel Configuration: It has 16 isolated input channels and can simultaneously collect 16 channels of analog signals, which can meet the requirements of multi-signal collection in most industrial fields, improving the input capacity and control flexibility of the system. Signal Characteristics: It supports an input signal range of 4 - 20mA, which is a commonly used signal standard in industrial process control and can be well-compatible with various types of sensors and transmitters.  The module has high-precision signal processing capabilities, with an accuracy of up to ±0.1% of reading, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the collected data. Working Environment: The working temperature range is from -10°C to +55°C, and it can adapt to a certain degree of temperature changes in the industrial environment.  This module complies with relevant industrial standard certifications, has good anti-interference ability and reliability, and can work stably in harsh industrial electromagnetic environments. Electrical Characteristics: Input Impedance: 250Ω when powered on, and 500kΩ or higher when powered off. Withstand Voltage Capacity: It can withstand a voltage of 1500V AC between the input and the system for 1 minute. Overcurrent Protection: It has an overcurrent protection function and allows a maximum input current of up to 24mA. Data Refresh Cycle: It is 10ms, and the input step response time is 100ms, enabling it to quickly update and process input signals. Transmitter Power Supply: It provides a transmitter power supply of 24.0 - 25.5V, with an output current limit of 25mA.  Two-wire or four-wire transmitters can be configured for each channel by setting the pins. Temperature Drift: The maximum is ±0.01%/°C. Maximum Current Consumption: 230mA at 5V DC and 540mA at 24V DC. Module Features: It adopts a robust design and is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.  It has a variety of communication interfaces, such as pressure clamp terminals, military connector cables, etc., to ensure the safety and efficiency of signal connections.  This module also supports the HART communication protocol, enabling two-way digital communication with other devices, which facilitates operations such as parameter setting, diagnosis, and monitoring.

The YOKOGAWA NFAI143 - H00 is a 16-channel analog input module.  The following are the installation steps: Preparation before Installation Confirm the Module and Accessories: Check whether the module is damaged, deformed, or missing any components.  At the same time, confirm whether all necessary installation accessories, such as screws and rails, are included. Understand the Installation Environment: Select an installation location that is dry, well-ventilated, and free of corrosive gases.  The ambient temperature should be within the allowable operating range of the module.  Also, ensure that there are no strong electromagnetic interference sources near the installation location. Prepare Tools: Prepare the tools required for installation, such as screwdrivers and wrenches. Install the Module Install the Rail: If the module is to be installed on a standard rail inside the control cabinet, first ensure that the rail is correctly installed in the control cabinet.  The specifications of the rail should be compatible with the module, and it should be firmly installed. Fix the Module: Snap the module onto the rail, or use screws to fix the module at the designated installation location, ensuring that the module is firmly installed and will not shake or loosen. Connect the Power Supply Confirm the Power Supply Specifications: Check whether the provided power supply meets the requirements of the module.  This module usually requires a stable DC power supply, such as a 24V DC power supply. Connect the Power Lines: Connect the positive and negative poles of the power supply to the corresponding power terminals of the module respectively.  Pay attention to the correct connection polarity to avoid damaging the module due to reverse connection.  The connection should be firm to prevent poor contact. Connect the Signal Cables Select the Signal Cables: According to the input signal requirements of the module, select shielded cables of appropriate specifications as the signal cables to reduce signal interference. Connect the Signal Cables to the Module: Correctly connect the signal cables of external devices to the input terminals of the module.  Operate according to the wiring diagram of the module to ensure that the connection sequence and polarity of the signal cables are correct, and the connection is firm. Grounding Connection Connect the Grounding Terminal: Connect the grounding terminal of the module to the grounding device of the system to improve the anti-interference ability and safety of the module.  The grounding resistance should meet the relevant standard requirements. Inspection after Installation Check the Connections: Check again whether all the connections are firm, including the power connection, signal connection, and grounding connection, etc., to ensure that there is no looseness or poor contact. Check the Module Status: Before powering on, check whether the appearance of the module is normal and whether there are any abnormal signs.  If the module has indicator lights, observe whether the indicator lights are in the normal initial state. Electrical Test: Use tools such as a multimeter to test the power supply voltage, signal input, etc., to ensure that all electrical parameters meet the requirements of the module.
